What I Leaned Photographing Professional Sports

Working in professional sports was one of the most exciting environments I have worked in. Nothing quite compares to documenting professional sports, from the fans to special moments on the pitch.

  1. There Is Always a Story to Be Told: One of the great things about sports is there is always a story on the field and off. During our home games, I had the opportunity to photograph the game from the fan’s perspective. This allowed me to spend a lot of time at tailgates and marches and to meet some great people who lived their lives around the team they love.

2. Always Be Ready: “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” In sports, we worked in a high-paced environment with high emotions, but you were always looking for the moments in time and the people who could tell a story just from the emotions on their faces.

3. It’s All About the People: One of my favorite instagram profiles to follow is one called Because People Matter This profile shows the importance of people. He has spent most of his carreer docuemnting people, thorugh photography. His photos are able to tell amazing stories that show the humanity that runs through every person.

4. Take Inspiration from Others: One of the greatest things I learned was to take inspiration from other great creatives i had the great opportunity to work with a group of insanely talented creatives. they all produced great work but as I was able to meet other creatives from around the league I was able to see just how talented they are and how much I had to learn below are some insanely talented photographers. Mobile Photography: How to Take Amazing Photos with Your Phone

In our modern era, the world of photography has expanded beyond the bounds of traditional cameras. With the advent of smartphones, everyone now carries a powerful camera in their pocket. Mobile photography has become a major trend and this guide is designed to help you take stunning photos with your phone.

Understanding Mobile Photography

Mobile photography leverages the convenience and technology of your smartphone to create compelling images. Despite the smaller sensor and lens, smartphones are capable of capturing high-quality photos that can rival those taken with professional cameras.

Tips for Taking Amazing Photos with Your Phone

  1. Know Your Camera App: Familiarize yourself with the camera app on your phone. Explore its features, settings, and modes to understand how to use them to your advantage.

  2. Use Natural Light: Lighting is key in photography. Whenever possible, use natural light instead of the flash to avoid harsh shadows and to bring out the best colors in your photos.

  3. Play with Composition: Experiment with different composition techniques such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, and symmetry to make your photos more interesting.

  4. Edit Your Photos: Most smartphones come with built-in photo editing tools. Use these to enhance your photos, adjust colors, and correct any flaws.

Mobile Photography Styles

Just like with traditional photography, you can explore different styles with mobile photography. From portrait and landscape to street and macro, you can experiment with various styles and find what resonates with you.

Practice Makes Perfect

Remember, the key to mastering mobile photography, like any other skill, is practice. Shoot regularly, experiment with different techniques, and don't be afraid to make mistakes. It's all part of the learning process.

In conclusion, mobile photography opens up a world of creativity right at your fingertips. So take out your phone, start exploring its camera, and let your creativity flow!
